Jeff Fish Fest & RODEO

Jeff Fish Fest is a non-profit fishing rodeo for adults and kids with the goal to provide a way for kids to enjoy fishing and the outdoors. With over a hundred kids and adults fishing every year it is recognized as one of the premier fishing events in the region. There are categories for fish caught in fresh water or salt water. Fish caught from any bank or boat from April 12th - 14th can be weighed in at the Lafreniere Park, Shelter #6 during the weigh-in hours.

Entry into Jeff Fish Fest provides access to the Swamp Zone which has interactive games, arts & crafts, Back Yard Bass, Inflatable Jump Zone, great food and more. Please select event details for additional information.

Take a kid Fishing Day!

This non-profit one-day event on April 14th, located at Lafreniere Park shelter 6, will include Live Weigh-in competition for youth (under 13). Kids will compete for the largest fish caught in the park for the categories: Perch/Bream, Bass, Catfish and Misc.
